We stand behind the equipment we sell. This Warranty Policy explains the coverage that applies to new and used machines, attachments, and parts, what’s covered and what isn’t, and how to file a claim. Coverage varies by item and condition, and the specific terms for your purchase are stated on the product listing and in your order documentation. Where those differ from the general terms below, the listing controls.
New machines carry a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a defined coverage period from the date of delivery. Coverage periods on new compact equipment commonly run in the range of 12 months, and some components or powertrains may carry longer coverage. The exact period and terms for your machine are stated on its listing and order documentation.
During the new-equipment warranty period, a covered defect will be addressed through repair, replacement of the defective part, or another appropriate remedy, at our or the applicable provider’s discretion.
Used and refurbished machines vary in age and hours, so coverage varies too. Depending on the unit, a used machine may carry a shorter limited warranty (for example, a defined number of days or months covering major functional defects) or be sold as-is. The condition and any warranty for each used machine are clearly stated on its listing. We describe used equipment honestly so you know exactly what coverage, if any, comes with it before you buy.
Attachments and parts carry a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the period stated on the listing, commonly in the range of 30 to 90 days from delivery for parts, with longer coverage on certain attachments. Wear items are excluded once used (see below).
The warranty does not cover:
To keep coverage valid, operate the equipment within its rated specifications, perform routine maintenance per the manufacturer’s guidance, keep records of maintenance, and use genuine or equivalent replacement parts. Always follow safe operating practices and applicable regulations.
For a valid warranty claim, our remedy is, at our discretion, repair, replacement of the defective part or item, or a comparable resolution. This is your exclusive remedy under this warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Iron Field is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, and total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected item.
Some products may also carry coverage directly from their manufacturer. Where manufacturer coverage applies, we’ll help direct your claim appropriately. We are an independent dealer and describe products as the brands we carry; we are not an authorized OEM dealer.
The ranges above reflect reasonable, industry-standard coverage and are provided as general guidance. The binding warranty terms for any purchase are the ones stated on that product’s listing and your order documentation. If you want the exact coverage for a specific machine or part before you buy, just ask. We’ll tell you straight.
